Mimosa, a plant, and Molly, a human, are best friends who spend their days dancing. Both Mimosa and Molly come from communities on the verge of disappearing. Their relationship takes a serious turn when Mimosa learns something that could save them all, and she MUST tell Molly! Luckily, Mimosa remembers she can overcome the language barrier by entering Molly’s dream, which Mimosa does. Now Molly must tell the rest of her village. The problem is: Will they believe her when she tells them she heard it from a plant?
Inspired by recent studies confirming that plants are sentient Beings who learn, remember, communicate and act with agency, Flourish reminds us that plants are our companions, not commodities, and that by working together, plants and humans can restore our world, one garden at a time.
